Approximately 70% of youth in the juvenile justice system have a mental health condition.
More than 50% of students with emotional and behavioral disabilities drop out of high school.
Students with disabilities are much more likely to be referred to law enforcement, retained in grade, placed in a disciplinary programs and be the victims of bullying and harassment.
Students with mental health conditions are four times more likely to be incarcerated than their peers.
